The Cavs have opened up after the lockout with solid performances and a record of .500. At 3-3, they are showing some very legitimate promise early on in this young season. Think the presence of Eric Gordon may have something to do with the Clippers' success? Los Angeles improved to 15-5 in games in which Gordon has played since December 17 with a 100-92 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers Saturday afternoon at Staples Center. Gordon, the Clippers' leading scorer for the season, returned from a right wrist injury to score 29 points, including six three-point buckets....
