Posted on 26 Feb 2011 by Nate Jacobson.
The Tigers woes away from Mizzou Arena continued on Saturday afternoon. Kansas State used 20-10 run in the last six minutes to defeat the Missouri 80-70. A three-pointer by Tigers guard Michael Dixon (10 points) with 6:16 left evened the scored at 60. From that point on the Wildcats scored 16 out of the next 18 points to cruise to victory. Posted on 26 Feb 2011 by Taylor Smith.
The Los Angeles Clippers won't have much time to think about yet another crushing third quarter collapse Friday night, as they'll turn right around and host the Boston Celtics at Staples Center on Saturday. The Clippers will be playing their first home game since February 2, and are in the midst of a tailspin. They've won just two of their last 12 games, and finished 2-9 on their 11-game road t...

Los Angeles Hosts Another Successful All Star Weekend
Posted on 22 Feb 2011 by Gyasmine.
The city of Angels is back to the normal glitz and glamor now that the 2011 NBA All Star Weekend has come to a close. The weekend was dampened by the wet and gloomy weather the rain brought on Friday and Saturday. But the jam packed events and festivities that took place in the LA Convention Center, Staples Center and surrounding areas, kept the energy and excitement. Friday's Events Friday's ...

Souray clears waivers
Posted on 21 Feb 2011 by Scott Pattison.
The Edmonton Oilers are stuck with their $5.4M-dollar albatross. The Oilers failed to relieve themselves of Sheldon Souray's hefty contract, after Souray cleared waivers earlier this morning. Souray will remain on load to the AHL's Hershey Bears, after failing to capture the interest of another NHL, after being placed on the 48-hour waiver wire Saturday. Unless Edmonton GM Steve Tambellini is a...

Posted on 20 Feb 2011 by Dave Thomas.
As the Los Angeles Kings were winding down their epic road trip across North America, they likely didn't have Feb. 19 checked off on the calendar as a shutout loss. The New York Islanders did just that Saturday night in front of more than 13,000 fans, getting a strong game in goal from seldom used Al Montoya (35 saves), while Matt Moulson tallied a pair of goals against brother-in-law Jonatha...

Posted on 19 Feb 2011 by Travis Currie.
What's so ironic about the Dallas Stars sitting at 68 points and fighting for their playoff lives heading into Saturday's matchup in Vancouver ? It was twenty years ago this spring that the Minnesota North Stars went on that amazing playoff run. Defeating the first place Chicago Blackhawks, second place St.Louis Blues, and the defending Cup Champs Edmonton Oilers before losing to Super Mario an...

The Missouri Tigers got back to winning ways on Saturday afternoon with an 84-61 victory over Oklahoma.
