Finger Waived

Quick update coming in. According to sources, Toronto Maple Leafs have placed defenceman Jeff Finger on waivers. Once clearing waivers, and he definitely should, Finger will report to the Toronto Marlies. Coming in as a shock/strange signing by Cliff Fletcher, Finger has been the poster boy for bad contracts in a salary cap era. Could this be a pre-cursor to another Maple Leafs move?
