Posted on 19 Jan 2013 by Brendan Keelan.

The lockout created a short preseason which resulted in sloppy play causing eleven pentalies total between the two teams. Going ...

Devils Sweep in Florida Trip
Posted on 14 Dec 2011 by Jordan DiRisio.
The Devils were able to earn four points in their two games against Florida and Tampa Bay. The Devils strong offense and some weak goaltending by Dwayne Roloson led to a 5-4 win in Tampa. Adam Henrique and Zach Parise each had a goal and two assists while Kovalchuk had a goal as well. Johan Hedberg and the Defense weren't particularly strong but they were able to hold out for a 5-4 win although...

Tampa Bay Lightning Summer Playbook
Posted on 30 Jun 2011 by Corey Krakower.
The Tampa Bay Lightning were one of the huge surprises in 2010-11 after a disappointing season the year before. A new owner, GM and coach brought the team all the way to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals, where they lost out to the Boston Bruins. The Lightning enter the offseason looking to build on that success, but it certainly won’t be easy. Midseason acquisition Dwayne Roloson was r...

Posted on 24 May 2011 by Matt Preston.
The talk in Boston all day Monday leading up to Game 5 of the Bruins’ Eastern Conference Finals against the Tampa Bay Lightning was if the Bruins eventually drop the series to the Lightning, they will forever look back upon their blown chance in Game 4 when they let a three goal lead slip away before losing 5-3. There was redemption of sorts for the Bruins in Game 5, however, as Tampa returne...
