Bombers Lose Game and Season Series 3-1 to TiCats
Posted on 13 Aug 2010 by Jim Penner.
The Bombers are a beaten team. They proved that by getting blown out by the Hamilton Tigercats tonight by the score of 39 to 28. They didn’t even keep this one close as they trailed 14-0 after 5 minutes and 28 to 7 after 18 minutes. Hamilton let up in the end game to allow the Bombers to make it an 11 point difference. Last night at Canads Inn Stadium on a rare windless night, you just felt from the start that the Toronto Argonauts wanted this game more than the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Bombers came out very slow and looked sluggish and paid for it with a 36-34 loss to the Argos allowing the Argos to end a nine game losing streak. Buck Pierce, the hero against...
