With their 1-0 loss to Minnesota on Tuesday, the Sharks now sit wedged in the middle of their division with a 5-4-1 record. Hitting the 10-game mark provides us with a sample size of where this team stands and what to expect from them. Things I like: The powerplay. Sharks win playoff tuneup in Calgary

Last night the San Jose Sharks came into Calgary looking to prove something. In the Sharks only other visit to Calgary, January 6th, the Sharks were embarrassed 5-2. With the Flames desperately trying to stave off the Canucks in the Northwest division they came in needing a win, but what they got from the Sharks speaks volumes of their playoff readiness.
