The “Underdog” Bills Face Another Giant Test
Posted on 13 Oct 2011 by Norm Duhamel.
These underdog Buffalo Bills seeem like they won't get any respect until they get to the playoffs. Even then, will they? But it seems that's just how they prefer it. “For us we’re the underdog every week in our minds because nobody wanted us or thought we could do anything this year,” said Ryan Fitzpatrick. The Bills will be looking to get their 5th win of the year before going into thei...

Bills Back On Track With Win Over Eagles
Posted on 10 Oct 2011 by Norm Duhamel.
What will be talked about more this week? The Eagles lose again or are the Bills back on track? So far all the talk has been about how the Eagles downward spiral continues after their 31-24 loss to Buffalo. I prefer the spotlight be diverted to other teams, and believe this will keep the Bills in check and not let the success of winning get the best of them. Our annual Gordon bus trip took pl...

Bills Face A Big Challenge In Week 4
Posted on 29 Sep 2011 by Norm Duhamel.
The Buffalo Bills have a 24 hour rule that after a victory or loss they put it behind them and move onto to the next week. However, it will be hard for myself and other Bills fans to forget the 34-31 victory over the New England Patriots last weekend. One of the greatest moments in my 20 plus years cheering for Buffalo, but time to move on to the next challenge, the Cincinnati Bengals. Buffa...

Game 2 Great to See, Now Bring on Game 3
Posted on 5 Jun 2011 by Andy R Strom.
The Dallas Mavericks pulled off yet another furious comeback in the 4th quarter. The Mavs trailed by 15 after Dwayne Wade hit a three from the corner then held his follow through for the sculptor sitting behind the Mavs bench…Oh there was no sculptor I’m told. The Mavs then started to sure up things on the defensive end of the court, make shots and take advantage of a Heat team that had obv...

Chicago wasn`t taking bull on Friday
Posted on 15 Jan 2011 by Tiffany Kloiber.
Chicago had a good win on Friday, though it wasn`t pretty. They looked good capitalizing on the turnovers that the not so sharp Pacers gave a way. For the Bulls last night wouldn`t be the best win of the season but a win is a win. Chicago is currently one of the high ranking teams because of the MVP candidate Derrick Rose who had another solid game with 29 points.

Bah Humbug. 15 Straight Against The Patriots
Posted on 27 Dec 2010 by Norm Duhamel.
Santa didn't exactly bring me what I asked for. With a 34-3 loss against the New England Patriots, the Bills have now lost 15 straight against their so called rivals. Nothing was working for the Bills on Sunday. They had 7 turnovers which included 5 from Fitzpatrick. He was simply off his game. The Bills managed to score a field goal off their opening drive, however this was all they could mana...

Syracuse makes Jimmy B proud at Garden V Classic
Posted on 8 Dec 2010 by Curt Bell.
I confess, going into Tuesday night's game against the mighty Spartans of Michigan State, preseason Final Four shoo-in, and laden with senior leadership, I was NERVOUS about my Orange. Barely scraping by sub-par oppenents such as Georgia Tech, albeit with an unblemished record, Syracuse had not played anywhere near the makings of a top ten squad with Final Four aspirations. Yet, by 11:30 P....

Nebraska falls victim to turnovers as Oklahoma clinches BCS spot
Posted on 5 Dec 2010 by Darshan Patel.
No. 13 Nebraska ends its run in the Big 12 Conference with a disappointing 20-23 loss at the hands of rival no. 9 Oklahoma. This game was defined by the sloppy play of the offense and its lack of ability to hold on to the ball. Taylor Martinez did not look as confident as he did earlier in the year. Martinez only completed half of his passes and added in an interception. He was more focused on ...

Spurs fall, then pick right back up
Posted on 29 Nov 2010 by Jon Lopez.
Well the streak is over. What sucks is that the loss was to Dallas. Th spurs were right there but the turnovers and lack of ball movement are seemed to kill any chance of winning besides the fact the defense wasn't very good. Sunday the Spurs played on the road in New Orleans at 2:00pm in the afternoon. Who makes these schedules? The first half was sad. Down 17 points at halftime is not where y...

What’s Better Then Finishing In L.A? Uh, a lot….
Posted on 26 Nov 2010 by Jordan Lauterbach.
This is the luxury of being bowl eligible. At least Notre Dame doesn’t have to win this game, but it would nice. Boy, would it be nice. The reality is, as famous as this rivalry is, the games played in Los Angeles stink. Sure, the recent South Bend chapters have been entertaining. Who could forget the Bush Push? I know it still gives me nightmares. Even last year’s game was close. A 34 ...

Sharks Thankful for Hawks’ Turnovers; Win 5-2
Posted on 25 Nov 2010 by Alex Wasserstrom.
I have to apologize for the lack of content in this entry, but I was traveling for the holidays and only caught the 1st period and last ten minutes of the 3rd. From what I saw, I was impressed with how the Sharks came out with a very aggressive forecheck that set the tone early. I also enjoyed the way McLellan continuously shuffled his forward lines to get away from any match-ups from Chicago. ...

Turnovers Drown Sharks at Home
Posted on 20 Oct 2010 by Alex Wasserstrom.
Chad LaRose had a goal and two helpers as the Carolina Hurricanes handed the Sharks their second consecutive loss at home with a score of 5-2. San Jose was given the opportunity to jump out to an early lead with two powerplay opportunities in a row. On their first powerplay, the Sharks seemed to be fighting the puck – making ill-advised passes as well as fanning on the puck. The Carolina ...
