Much of my pregame blog centered around my belief that the Seahawk defense could shut down Colt McCoy and the Brown offense. Seahawks hope to get revenge against struggling Falcons

Last season, the Atlanta Falcons finished the regular season with the best record in the NFC, racking up 13 wins and just 3 losses. One of those wins was a 34-18 win at Qwest Field over the Seahawks. On Saturday, all NFL teams were required to make enough roster cuts to drop to the league-mandated 53 man rosters. The Seahawks cut 20 players; none of these moves were particularly surprising.
