Arizona beat Washington State 24-7 on Saturday, but it wasn’t without penalty. Nick Foles left in the first half with an injury to his knee, and forced backup quarterback Matt Scott to come in. He didn’t do too badly of a job, though. Scott completed 14 of 20 passes for 139 yards and an interception, but kept the game in check for the most part. Finally a solid win from the Devils. ASU fans have been waiting for that for weeks, and if they caught the game, they were not disappointed. This was the game I had been waiting to see from ASU against the last few opponents.
