Henrik Lundqvist shook off the déjà vu he must have felt at the Wells Fargo Center this afternoon. In a tight game to kick off spring with a playoff berth on the line and a looming shootout, Lundqvist came out the victor this time around. Shootout Loss to NYR Hurts Canes

This loss hurt. The Carolina Hurricanes could have tied the New York Ranges for seventh place in the East with a win at home Tuesday night. They led the game 3-2 with two minutes left in regulation only to see the Rangers Wojtek Wolski tie the game with 1:50 remaining in regulation and then win it in the shootout. What an inconsistent schedule. Feels like forever since the Rangers last game, a win over Pittsburgh on Sunday.
